Cookies and local storage

This website uses no analytics software, no advertising cookies, no social media buttons that watch along and no fonts or scripts from external servers. Nothing about you is passed to Google, Meta or anyone else.

Since there is nothing to choose that is not strictly necessary, we do not ask for your consent either. A banner asking permission for something that needs no permission mainly teaches people to click banners away.

Three things, all from this site itself, all needed to make something work that you asked for:

Your login session

After you log in, your browser keeps a session token (from Supabase, our login service). Without that token you would be logged out on every click. It stays until you log out or the session expires. Strictly necessary.

Your basket at the bar

Whatever you put in your basket on the bar page stays in the memory of that one browser tab until you order or close the tab. Strictly necessary.

Admin panel preferences

Which kinds of log lines an administrator wants to see. This exists only for staff accounts and holds nothing about visitors. Functional.

You can clear all of this through your browser settings. Delete your session token and you are simply logged out.

If you pay online, we send you to Stripe’s payment page. Stripe sets its own cookies there, among other things to spot fraud. That happens on Stripe’s page and falls under their policy. If you would rather avoid it, you can pay at the counter.

Like every web server, ours keeps short technical logs including your IP address. That is not a cookie and is not on your device: it is needed to run the site and to stop abuse. More about that in our Privacy policy.

If we ever did use measurement software, a real consent request would come first, where refusing is as easy as accepting and nothing loads before you have chosen. Questions about that are welcome at info@golfloft.be.
