Terms and conditions
The agreement between you and us when you book, order or take out a membership.
Last updated on 10 October 2026.
1. Who we are
These terms apply to all use of https://golfloft.be and to every booking, order or membership you enter into through this site with The Golf Loft BV, Kapellestraat 97, 9800 Astene, Belgium, enterprise number 1019.957.077.
By confirming a booking or order, you accept these terms. A customer’s own terms do not apply unless we have accepted them in writing.
2. Booking and paying
- All prices are in euros and include VAT.
- A time slot is only yours once payment is confirmed. Until then we hold it briefly, but that hold expires automatically if the payment is not completed.
- You get a confirmation by email, with your access code. That code is personal; do not share it.
- If you arrive late, your session still ends at the agreed time — the next player is waiting.
- During unstaffed hours no staff are present. You then use the installation independently and according to the instructions on site.
3. Cancelling and moving
- Up to 24 hours before your session starts you can cancel or move free of charge. You get the full amount back.
- Within the last 24 hours the amount remains due and there is no refund. The bay was ready for you and cannot be let again at that point.
- If you do not turn up, the same applies as for a late cancellation.
To cancel, contact us at info@golfloft.be or on +32 9 366 67 16. If you paid online, we refund to the same payment method, usually within a few working days. If you paid with credits, those return to your code straight away.
If we have to cancel — a technical fault, a power cut or force majeure — you get the choice between a new slot or a full refund. Our liability does not extend beyond that in such a case.
4. No right of withdrawal for a booked slot
With online purchases you normally have 14 days to change your mind. That does not apply to leisure services with an agreed date or period — and a booked simulator is exactly that. This is article VI.53, 12° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
For things without a fixed date, such as a gift voucher bought separately, you do keep your 14 days, as long as the voucher has not been used.
5. Memberships
- A membership runs for the period stated at purchase and entitles you to what is described there.
- Memberships are personal and non-transferable. They are not renewed silently: when the period ends, the membership simply stops.
- Unused sessions or benefits expire at the end of the period and are not refunded or carried over.
- Price changes never apply to a running period, only to a new one.
6. Credits and gift vouchers
- One credit equals one euro and can only be spent with us.
- Credits are not paid out in cash, unless the law requires it in a specific case.
- A gift voucher is valid for two years from issue. The expiry date is on the voucher; after that the remaining balance lapses.
- A lost or stolen code can only be blocked and replaced if you can show that it is yours and that there is still a balance on it.
- A code that turns out to be forged or fraudulently obtained will be blocked.
7. Orders at the bar
You can order during the bar’s opening hours. Some products are only available when staff are present; the menu shows which. We do not serve alcohol to minors, and we may refuse an order.
8. Conduct on site
- Follow the instructions by the simulators and the equipment. Do not swing a club outside the area provided for it.
- You are liable for damage you cause through fault or carelessness to the installation, the screens or the equipment.
- Children under 16 play accompanied by an adult, who also remains responsible for their behaviour.
- We can refuse access or end your session in the event of dangerous behaviour, drunkenness or damage to the installation. In that case there is no refund.
- Golf is a physical activity. You take part in normal health and judge for yourself what you can manage.
9. Liability
We provide our services as a normally careful operator. Our liability for damage arising in doing so is limited to the amount you paid for the booking or order concerned, and to direct damage. Indirect damage — such as lost income or a spoiled evening — is not compensated.
That limitation does not apply to death or personal injury, nor to fraud or intentional fault. For those we remain fully liable, and nothing in these terms detracts from that. Nor do these terms affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
We are not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings in the building, nor for a temporary interruption of the site or the simulators through a technical fault or a cause beyond our control.
10. Photography and video
If we take photographs or video in which you are recognisable and want to publish them, we ask your permission. You may always withdraw it; let us know and we will take the image down.
11. Complaints
Tell us first, at info@golfloft.be or on +32 9 366 67 16. We try to resolve every complaint within seven working days.
If we cannot work it out together, as a consumer you can turn free of charge to the Consumer Mediation Service, North Gate II, Koning Albert II-laan 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels.
12. Applicable law
Belgian law applies to this agreement. Disputes belong before the competent courts of the judicial district of East Flanders, Ghent division — on the understanding that as a consumer you may always also go to the court of your own place of residence, as the law allows you.
13. Other
If a provision of these terms is void, the others continue to apply and the void provision is replaced by a valid one that comes as close as possible to its intention.
We may amend these terms. For a booking, the version that was online when you made it applies. How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy policy.
